ITRDC E-Learning Division has completed adding the (Google Meet) service to the official university platform.
This addition is considered as one of the most important services provided by Google, which is used in the field of video lecture project, this addition comes in support of the Division for the integrated E-learning process which can be applicable in 2020-2021, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research due to the circumstances imposed by Corona pandemic.
Mr. Ahmed A. Al-Jubouri, the head of division, explained that this service has been added to all E-learning sites of our university, so that the professor can create video communication rooms on the Moodle E-learning platform where no need to leave the platform, copy links and then sending them to students Saving time and effort for the professor, ensuring that students can easily have an access to university platform.
However, this service can provide synchronization with the (Google Drive) service to save the video recordings of the synchronized lessons to be reviewed later; it also synchronized the (Google Calendar) service to provide both student and professor with lessons notifications before their launch within a specified period of time.
